JUNO!! Nail the pockets, nail the zipper, nail the fit! March 20th, 21st AND April 4th
CLASS TIMES DETAILS....March 20th you will come in for the open sew hours to trace your pattern so we can start your muslin on the 21st. March 21st and April 4th class hours are noon-4:00 for class instruction time but you can stay until 6pm to finish up sewing your muslin and then for any finishing on the finished product.
This is it, THE pants class you want to take! Why? Because I'm teaming up with local apparel sewing expert, Cynthia Flint, to make this the most informative and constructive pants class we've ever done. We will be helping to select the size to start out in the making of your muslin on day one. Cynthia will then help you with fit issues like fitting the seat, the crotch depth and hips...plus pocket installation and the zipper fly & waistband, all the things that make pants sewing intimidating for a lot of us.
In the first class you will have time to work on your muslin, get instructions on the fit requirements to make the pants that fit YOUR body in the way you want and to start your muslin. You can finish working on your muslin at home and/or take another FRIDAY OPEN SEW opportunity to continue to work with guidance ( March 28th, included in the cost of class ).
In the second clas we will be MAKING OUR JUNO PANTS!! Using the fit measurments you learned in class one, we will start your pants. Are you nervous about any of the steps? Cynthia and I will guide you through making those steps non scary.
The lessons you learn from this class will help you in your future pants making projects regardless of the pattern. Want to make jeans next and you want them to actually FIT? Use the lessons you've learned in this class, we'll completely take the mystery out of making a pair of well fitting pants.
