The Gypsum Skirt is the fraternal twin of the Arenite Pants - same ridiculously comfortable waistband and drapey pockets, more flounce. Layer it under or over dresses, wear

it with a boxy top or cami, and shorten or lengthen the pattern depending on the season. View A has unique, crescent-shaped pockets and instructions for French-seamed pockets and flat-felled seam finishes of the four skirt panels. View B is the perfect introduction to garment sewing (or just a quick sew) with the same shape as View A, but sporting only two panels and inserted, side seam pockets. It is part of the Sedimentary Capsule, and pairs well with Sew Liberated's Hinterland Dress, Metamorphic Dress, Arenite Pants, and Matcha Top. Each pattern features an instruction booklet and pattern pieces printed on tissue, enclosed in a lightweight, full-color cardboard box (

Unless otherwise requested, we will go with the most cost effective shipping option. Sometimes our system charges you more for shipping than what the cost ends up being. If we find this to be the case, we will refund the difference.

Receipt needed for returns. Online orders can be returned in store or shipped back.

If the return is for a defective item or due to our error, please request a return label and one will be sent to you via email.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Your item must be unopened or in unused condition, with tags and original packaging, and accompanied by a receipt. No returns on sale items, cut fabrics or patterns & books.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order once you get it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
We do not accept returns on books, patterns, cut fabrics and fiberfill. 
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
Items without a receipt can be exchanged for store credit only.
