The Costermonger is the essential market tote designed as a backpack. Fill it up with wholesome goodies, leaving your hands free for some belly rubs for your dog. This is a simple satisfying sew that uses little fabric, making it ideal for using up some of your stash or making as a present. The instructions show you how to make it with leather or webbing for the straps.

Finished measurements length 45cm, width 40cm.

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.

Fabric suggestions - Oilskin, Dry Oilskin, Mid-Heavy weight Cotton Canvas or Drill, Mid weight Denim (8-14oz).
