This class is required prior to your 1st time renting the longarm machine.

In this class you will learn how to load a quilt, thread the longarm and how to get started. We will cover basting the quilt sandwich ( no need to baste before we load onto the longarm, basting is done once everything is loaded! ), setting stitch length, how to quilt some simple designs and how to tie off.
A simple *Longarm Class Starter Quilt Kit* is available for purchase as we do not recommend using a finished quilt top to practice on.
If you have a finished quilt top that you aren't terribly attached to you certainly may bring that. We do ask, for machine and tension maintenance issues, that thread and batting be purchased in the shop.
